Forum log in problems?

Just want to reiterate that we changed domains last week, so it took a few days for the TN domain to start working again for some people. If you're not connecting to our correct new IP yet, then try clearing your TN cookies and restarting your browser.

Also read the post a few back if you can't even access the tvnihon.com domain at all

TN site problem?

Someone reminded me of something important in an e-mail. If people had previously changed their host files in regards to the TN site and its IP, that's going to prevent you from properly connecting to the new IP. Please undo these changes

Windows Vista = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Windows XP = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Windows 2K = C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Win 98/ME = C:\WINDOWS

Tracker page revamped

Thanks to Quatrerwin's tireless efforts, our tracker page is a lot more user friendly.

The series are now properly separated, clicking on the super category links brings you to the browse page.

Clicking on the category links on the browse now actually brings up all the series within that category now

Remember that the titles at the top of the table are clickable links that will sort the table of torrents

Speaking of torrents, I could use some batch torrents for the following series:

Tracker Downtime Tonight

All tracker related services will go down at roughly 9 or 10 PM CDT tonight (July 23) for an upgrade. Downtime will be approximately 30 minutes to an hour. Once the new tracker goes online you may encounter random errors on the site for an hour or two. If the errors persist, feel free to contact me with the details of the errors.

I forgot to mention yesterday that starting from episode 5 up the karaoke uses the correct lyrics. I'm only adding the ending song karaoke when there's no dialogue, that's why it only has shown up so far in the first episode. Please check out the music video "Sands of Time" if you want to see how the correct karaoke/translation goes

DJ's wanted

Now that I've got the server all set up, I am now taking applications for DJs. To apply, all you need to do is say you want to give it a go. I'll give you a test run, and from there you're pretty much good to go unless I say otherwise. There are three rules that I personally go by from my days as a regular radio DJ

1. You don't have to talk, but it makes DJing more enjoyable, and it adds a personal flair that connects you to the listeners really well.
2. If you do talk, keep foul language down. You ever heard George Carlin's (rest in peace) Seven Dirty Words? Don't use them.
3. Mix things up a little. Don't throw listeners for a major loop, but play something unexpected that you think they'd like.

I'm starting things off with even, two hour shifts running from Eastern Standard Time (EST). If it's inconvenient for most of the people applying, I'll change things around.

I really would like someone to add at least Galaxy Force so Transformer fans don't have to watch the bad chop job dub. There's a very polite thread requesting this too, so it certainly will get some use if someone uploads it

Also, I'd like to plug Shadowneko's highly organized and consistenly updated thread that brings sanity to our madness. All our series in alphabetical order by title.

Speaking of madness, there are only so many topic threads that can be displayed in our ddl forum. Please don't create new threads of basically nonsense, since that pushes the series threads onto the second page (we're actually just 3-4 threads into the second page now) Use the respond button or if it's off topic, go to a different forum (technical help forums, feedback forums, episode discussion forums)

If we can keep things organized, it'll be better for everyone. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the direct download forums. It's all you guys. It's all your fault! I mean it's thanks to all of you!

GameCenter CX 01 released



The first episode of the series that made Arino famous

Also released the CM for the GameCenter CX game

So unfortunately, this ends the GCX marathon that we had stocked up. Of course we'll continue to work on GCX, but at a more leisurely rate (these episodes are more drama length and require a lot more work, plus the stuff marathoned was the culmination of 6 months of preparation)

So enjoy this episode, there'll be more to come
