We want to thank everyone that donated to us to help buy the volumes of MegaRanger we have now. Those that donated also helped to keep our distro means going and web hosting. We still need the final two volumes of MegaRanger. They are somewhat expensive and we will buy them eventually, but if you feel like donating we can get them that much sooner. Thanks to all the donations over the last couple weeks we have been able to buy more volumes of MegaRanger, pay hosting on the website, pay hosting on the distro server, and pay for a few others things. We still need to buy a couple more volumes of MegaRanger so if you can please donate. Anything helps. Anything donated over the price of R2's goes into the website and distro.

Last week we got several donations and were able to buy a couple more volumes of MegaRanger. That project is going again, and we expect a release sometime after Boukenger ends. We can always use donations to help buy more MegaRanger and other series that we will sub, and we can always use donations to help out with web hosting and distribution costs. Thank you all.

I want to give another round of thanks to the people that have donated to us over the last week. Thanks to all of them we are going to be resuming one of our on hold shows here shortly. And that show is.... Denji Sentai MegaRanger :) We have been able to pay for our website hosting and buy some more R2's of MegaRanger. I am getting sick of some people's ways of turning shit around.
Yes, MegaRanger and Jeff. I'm talking about you.

A lot of TV-Nihon people went to Otakon. Myself included. There was a panel by the company Media Blasters.

In the past a Media Blasters rep was quoted as saying they were interested in doing some tokusatsu in the near future. Key word here is "interested". This information came from MegaRanger of Japan Hero. That's cool. Way to go. Flash forward a bit. I think somewhere a Media Blaster's rep was asked the same question again and didn't know anything about it. As far as I know this was a different person than the original rep. From what I understand Jeff contacted Media Blasters personally and asked the question and again got the same thing. Media Blasters was interested in doing some toku.

Yes. I told people to stop lying when they were throwing names of shows around as "CONFIRMED" releases.

Flash forward to Otakon 2004. We were there. MegaRanger was there. Jeff was there somewhere too. (I'd have LOVED to have met these guys so they could see that I'm not some sort of terrorist...but alas.)

During the Media Blasters panel a question was asked (By MegaRanger) about the status of the toku projects from Media Blasters. The gentlemen said that they were still interested in Toku and were looking at options to get things started. From a business standpoint he basically said they're still working on getting started. He neither CONFIRMED nor DENIED that they have done anything beyond saying they want to do it. They have not said that they have done it.

I asked the question if they knew which shows they'd like to do. I'm rather curious if they want to go after the Super Sentai series that have been used by Disney for Power Rangers. He said they hadn't even started looking at which shows they'd want to do. I asked him if he knew about JapanHero.com. I was hoping maybe he knew about their efforts to get toku noticed by some of the anime companies. He said they'd seen it and have thought about picking it up. I didn't say anything more because I was rather confused by his answer.

I did not lead him to believe Japan Hero was a show. We are not subbing Japan Hero. (But maybe Hamtaro :O)

My final question for him was what could the people currently fansubbing tokusatsu do to help out an offical release. He said to keep subbing. He liked what we did and that fansubbers would be the first ones they would ask for help.

Afterwards he came over and spoke with KingRanger/DekaMaster and he gave him a business card with contact information and wanted some Kamen Rider subs.

MegaRanger: Did I steal your credit? No. Did I call you a liar? No.

Please. I'm really tired of seeing the slander over there. We're all fans. Cut it out and place nice. It also sucks that you guys STILL have me banned. It'd be nice to clear this shit up without having to post in public.

Well with Otakon in the middle of it's action. So are we this weekend. Just released on bt is Kamen Rider Faiz 10-12 batch torrent as well as Denji Sentai Megaranger Episode 1.

When finished leeching it please stay on and seed. It's hard to do more batch releases when we have to seed the old ones. So to help make sure there are more in the future please stay on and seed the batch torrents.

We have just released Mirai Sentai TimeRanger episode 1.It is on servers and on the bt page. This is encoded from an R2 dvd source. With it we add a new staff member to tv-nihon as it's translator. I will leave it to him to introduce himself on the forums later. Now some status updates on other projects:
 
ZyuRanger - Currently holding on new raw source due to Macrovision issues while translation continues.
 
MegaRanger - Currently holding on a new raw source. Possible DVD release.Translation continues
 
GranSazer - Typesetter/Editor currently extremely busy due to involvement with upcoming Otakon convention. Translation continues and progress willresume shortly.
 
DaiRanger - Typesetter/Editor currently extremely busy due to involvement with upcoming Otakon convention. Translation continues and progress willresume shortly.
 
Ryuki - Raw source donated by DrKain will not be used due to conflict of interest. Currently awaiting new raw source from friend.
 
Kuuga - Currently in editing phase and first episode will be released soonsince we just got Region 2 raw source.
 
So as you can all see we have not given up on any projects as some believe or would have you believe. We are not speed subbers nor do we just rush right out with the lowest quality product. We take our time and put 100% into everything we do.

TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!

Ladies and gentlemen I've been waiting for a moment like this all my life. I'm a godly huge Transformers fan and for years I've drooled at the idea of well subbed Transformers episodes... I never thought I'd be the one doing it...

I am HONORED to present a joint effort between my two homes: WolfPack Productions and TV-Nihon.

While I would have LOVED to've released Transformers Micron Legend (The series that comes before Super Link, chronologically) before Super Link, raw situation last year prevented that... Have faith, though, I will purchase the DVDs and we will be releasing it as soon as we can. When watching Super Link, it's not entirely neccessary to have even seen an episode of Transformers before.

Also...I'd like to officially announce that TV-Nihon has purchased the Region 2 DVD's for Transformers: HeadMasters. This Japanese only series directly follows the end of Transformers as broadcast in America. It picks up right where Season 3 of Generation 1 left off (Conveniently ignoring the three "Rebirth" episodes)

So come to the channel and hang out with us... I only ask that you please do not rag/bash any Transformers in my precense. (Yes, Beast Machines were Transformers too...)
