Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
I just finished downloading it, and watched parts of it. I liked the addition of Double-Action Wing Form, to Wing Form's fight. But I didn't really care too much for the addition of Double-Action Gaoh Form to the Gaoh/Zeronos fight, I just prefered the music in the theatrical cut more.

Thank you very much, you made one girl very happy and hate you now that you made me want to cancel playing The World Ends With You for one moment.
I hope you included Momo Natsu, otherwise...
Well, only a few things to go: Those two Special Talk Shows, Climax Deka (and Director's Cut, if that ever existed) and the Imagin Anime...

Thank you. Can't wait to watch it. I hope it'll be as good as the other Director's Cuts of yesteryear.

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
Well the only stuff I caught was the addition of Double Action Gaoh & Wing Forms with their respective fights, and the part with Sieg sleeping.

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
It was mostly small scene extensions here and there, the addition of Double-Action Gaoh Form and Wing Form to the Gaoh/Zeronos Fight, and the Wing Form fight respectively. I think there was an additional short scene during the final fight. And the scenes that played during the end credits in the theatrical cut, are now before the credits roll. I actually like these Director's Cuts, the additional scenes makes the movies feel more like an actual full-length movie (probably because the added footage usually brings the runtime to full-feature length,) and they also fix some errors made with the theatrical cuts (like with the Kabuto movie, but I don't think there were any errors in Den-O.)

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
Just wanted to mention something interesting that I read when looking up the real history that is presented in this movie. Apparently the real Senhime was 7 years old when she got married.

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
FINAL CUT... SANJOU!!
I loved the Final Cut version of the movie. It really felt like a more complete movie this time around with the additions they made. Also, while the addition of D-A GAOH form and D-A Wing form were welcome additions, one can't help but be like "Damn, because I saw the theatrical version, these battle scenes feel too different." Their placement in their respective scenes grew on me kinda quickly, so it's all good.
I won't lie, though. Gaoh surprised me when they showed him hiding away from Momotaros, positioning a knife (?) at Naomi's stomach. I knew he was evil, but heh, that's just O.o!.
GOTTA LOVE GAOH HENSHIN v.2!!! Seriously, they added layers of already-present badassness with the re-made transformation sequence, man. The addition of the shoulder and chest plates and the speed-up of the Gaoh's DenKamen placement (plus the few lightning bolts added for more badassness)... 泣けるデー!
And they introduced the Kotarou concept in a better setting than when being chased around by those ninjas, which in the theatrical version felt kinda goofy to have Momotaros slappin' ninjas around and making sense of Hana suddenly calling past Ryoutarou 'Kotarou'.
Added Naomi/Owner hijinks. hahahaha. Great stuff.

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
I thought the use of the smashed Momo face for the naming of Kotarou scene was funny. Yay reuse of masks!
Also, I've never seen Owner make fun of Naomi before. I guess he kind of deserved the attitude after that

Yeah, that was quite a first. I blame Gaou for that, grabbin' his precious Chinese rice like that. I'd be pretty pissed too. :-ptakenoko wrote:Also, I've never seen Owner make fun of Naomi before. I guess he kind of deserved the attitude after that.

For some reason, that brought Bauffie's "kinkeh" Urataros avatar to mind. >.>IijumiSoukai wrote:Don't forget when Momo told Kin and Ura to hit him in the ass.

Re: KR Den-O Movie DC released
This was my first time seeing the movie, to be honest. Surprising, yes.
I loved it, though. My favorite Rider movie, mostly because it's a fit into the story.
