I thought it was kind of funny how Long said Jyuken was a sham and not a match for the real thing when he's the one using the power of animals that exist, as far as we know, in stories.

Also, that Jyuken Triangle offense is worthy of Phil Jackson.

That new season Red Ranger Tag-in was kind of funny looking.

But he has a point. Long afterall is a dragon who masquerades as a human while jyu ken is only a martial art where they derive power by the imitation of animals, Long in the end is the real thing.

I loved the nod to RinJyuKen in the opening and the slight pose variation during GekiRed, Yellow, and Blue's final roll call.

I love this series. It was the first series that got me into super sentai. I have since gone back and watched all the episodes of boukenger...and bits & pieces of deka / magi; unsubbed eps of liveman, zyuranger & goranger.

Geki by far is the best!!!! Thank you TV-N for giving someone like me the ability to enjoy & appreciate to enjoy this aspect of japanese culture!

This series was one of the best in a while and while the last episode wasn't as exciting perhaps as other ones have been, I thought it tied up the series very nicely. I thought overall, the series started off a bit slow but once it picked up in the teens, it never really stopped (except for maybe a couple minor episodes in the 20's) and had an awesome story, awesome villians, and characters who started off a bit flat but definitely grew to be likable by the end. I hope series to come can compare because I loved GekiRanger.

This episode was great, but I was kinda hoping for non-transformed roll calls. :(

Thanks for subbing this awesome show, TV-N!

Great ending, and a great year!

But I could sort of see the new plot for Gekiranger vs. Go-onger

Go-onRed: *points at the Long ball* Hey, what's that?
Jan: This?
*Jan takes it out, drops it and ball breaks*
Jan: Oh crap, dekadeka!

It seems like the comments on Go-Onger are a little uncalled for. There's a whole thread devoted to that series already. No one can really say whether the series is good or bad until they watch it.

I'm not talking about my opinion of Go-onger and how it will be compared to Gekiranger, I'm just saying how the Gekiranger plot will link back to it during the special.

And IMO, it will have a 99% chance of the revival of Rio/Mele/Long.

Not referring to your post. But in previous posts people will talk about it and then say something irksome like "oh yeah, but I don't think Go-Onger will be any good".

Wait, that's the same move that Maku did against the Kenseis right? and that was only undone when Maku was killed... Which means Jan, Ran, and Restu would have to be killed or die of old age for Long to get out... right? ... Great, Long's gonna get out either way he just needs to wait 80-90 years. XP

Keep in mind that everyone in the triangle now has a pupil. With Jan's zunzun, I think he means that there will eventually be a new triangle. Sure, Ran Retsu and Jan will die, but their successors will probably be taught the sealing technique, and Long won't be such a problem. *imagines hundreds of people with Kageki*

I will now remember this episode only because Jan jumping up and down during the "passing the torch." Lol, love Go-onRed's little jog afterwords.
