or 1000 of GekiRinJyu user vs Long with 1000 different kinds of beast-mecha along with my Liger.

Or Jan, Retsu and Rane would turn them into beastman and never will aged but will dead if they are kill by some.

Hang on did not all 3 Kenma did the seal on Kensia and the last one if Maku so long will break out if the last member of original team die. Maybe for 100 Anniversary of Super Sentai, Long break up and in a new world and new generation of super sentai team with the power to turn long into nothing.

Well, apparently due to the power of Jyu-ken, the Rio-Jan line will reincarnate forever!

Dan--> Rio --> Jan --> Random Cantonese Kid

I bet Random Cantonese Kid will be a RinJyuKen master with a just heart, and he'll find Random Japanese Kid, successor to Jan!

Thanks TV-Nihon, for subbing this series, the first full sentai series that I have watched.

I remeber thinking about it all the time on how the gekirangers were going to defeat Long.
This was one of the best seasons that I've ever seen.
I hope this isn't considered a spoiler
I heard that Engine Sentai Go-onger is going to be pretty good too.

It was okay to me. I think it was mostly because Magiranger was so good. I just felt let down by it.

Make up for Boukenger? Boukenger was really good Sentai.

Each Sentai series has their strong point:

Magiranger's strong point (IMHO) was character development.
Boukenger's strong point was a more back-to-basics/honoring the past 30 Sentai series approach.
Gekiranger's strong point was certainly on the ideas to be taught (Honest heart, iron will, etc.) and discovering one's self from that, and that's what I really liked about this series: it makes you think about your path and how you travel that path.

Now, Go-onger, well, you never can tell from the beginning of a Sentai series what it's going to be like in the end. We'll just go on with courage, adventure, and sensing one's heart!

I liked how you wrote that and I agree with you 100%
great post

I will now remember this episode only because Jan jumping up and down during the "passing the torch." Lol, love Go-onRed's little jog afterwords.

XD Same here. Though I did like Bouken -> Geki's passing of the torch. Granted that was the first time I'd ever seen that though. Someone said it happened in Deka and Magi but I haven't got around to seeing those yet.

Long could come back in either Gekiranger vs Boukenger or Go-Onger vs Gekiranger as one of the villains could use him for their plans to destroy the world.

Long hasn't even appered in Gekiranger vs. Boukenger (if I'm not mistaken)
I say that, because in the promo you see rio in is black suit form

Let's try to keep on the topic at hand, which is the last episode of Geki Ranger. Please and thanks. No "I'm sorry" posts needed. ^_^;

This episode was great, but I was kinda hoping for non-transformed roll calls. :(

Oh yeah! I forgot about that, I think from Deka to Geki, Bouken is the only series that does it. Such a shame because I would like to see actors do it instead of suit actors at some point lol.

I wonder if that Rio-kid Jan met is the same actor in Rio's memory? Right?

I have to chuckle at slow motion that was used a lot in the last ep.

I agree that this is the best series of recent years. It felt very Complete. Deka, Magi, and Bouken were good shows too, but they lacked the Compelling villains with a strong build-up over an entire series--which is a shame cuz those shows had other nice elements. Another aspect that was present almost over the entire series was the Questions that built up surrounding who Long was and the slow reveal of past events. Plus the superior choreography of the martial arts plus several intense "rivalry" battles.

My only criticism is the early episodes where they were introducing weapons and mecha that we would hardly ever see again.

Ep. 49 nice episode...awesome choreography in the Long battle...funny moments...lingering questions are...Where is Gou going? and did about 8 or 9 years go by so that kid can be Rio reincarnate or did his gekisoul just possess that kid? haha

I thought it was kind of funny how Long said Jyuken was a sham and not a match for the real thing when he's the one using the power of animals that exist, as far as we know, in stories.

But he has a point. Long afterall is a dragon who masquerades as a human while jyu ken is only a martial art where they derive power by the imitation of animals, Long in the end is the real thing.

Exactly !!

At the end of the day Jyken is still a martial art that allows the practitioners to acquire and use the power of beasts. Whereas Long is actually a beast, the ultimate beast, which means he does need to ""mimic" or acquire power of beasts like Jyuken practitioners do. Meaning his powers is more beastly real than others

Or perhaps it's just foreshadowing that the kid will follow in the paths of Rio and Maku and as Jan's rival. I mean Jan did afterall mistake Rio for Maku after they underwent the Beast Power Bloom so his Ki sense isn't 100 percent accurate.
