I'm surprised that Juuzou "died" so easily. But since he fell off a cliff and didn't explode, that's the trope that means he'll be back later. But let's all pretend as if he's dead for now.

I'm not sure if I find Dayuu's backstory all that interesting. Juuzou, come back!

But that was a satisfying duel, wasn't it? Got to love rivals

I like Dayuu's character though. I think it would have been ordinary if she would just fell to Gedou herself but she dragged her lover with her which makes it unique. Her conversation with Juuzou about attachments made think about Urasama and wonder if it was a reason for why he fell to Gedou. The duel was pretty good especially Takeru's suicide move to defeat Juuzou at the end. Of course, I don't think he's dead as take stated earlier.

I like Ryuu for once in this episode as he stood his ground with Takeru about fighting Juuzou. I loved his little motion with the Shodophone before transforming along with his flick of his sword after defeating Yumebakaru the first time around. It remind me of removing blood from a sword like that.

And Jii being the loving father and helped Mako to try again towards her dream.

I really liked how Ryuu and Shiba acted in this ep. I can feel the intense coming from both of them, I think this was first time we got to see Shiba reacted out of angry toward Ryuu knowing how patient he is by nature. Felt like the interaction between them was real or something. I liked how Ryuu tried to understand and acknowledge him after spending whole night thinking.

I feel so sorry for Dayuu's lover. To be trapped like that for eternity sounds awful. This make me wonder where all other monsters came from. How many of them were humans at one time.

And more importantly why didn't we get to see Dayuu's human form where we could with Juuzou?

I believe that Juuzou stated he was only half Geduo so that could be while he has the human form ability.

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, aren't those the cliffs Mio fell off of in Kiva? How appropriate. And I like Genta and Ryuu spazzing when Kotoha feeds Takeru.

First off, art at the beginning, awesome. >_< Super good.
As far as the fights went, I did enjoy the water cut, I think that was pretty good when "Super Blue" was fighting, that was a neat effect. I also think I could have watched 30 minutes of JUST the Takeru vs Juuzo fight. >_< I love that he was using the back of his blade (still pretty vicious though). I very seriously hope we can see more of them fighting, and it would be great if they just kept raising the level. I honestly thought that Takeru was stabbed through the the throat, which would have been crazy.

The giant battle this week reminded me of a game I was playing once, and the enemy bugged out and just started clipping and attacking my character. I couldn't hit him, but he could just keep beating on me as he blinked through walls, floors, and all around me.
Hehe, the little ending bits are so awesome at times. Watching them all shove sushi into their "Lord's" face was funny.

On a note though, I am once again awed by the pure skill of the coreography, especially after watching Kamen Rider. This season of Sentai, I could watch some of their fights all the time, it is just .. almost inspiring. I keep flashing back to my Kendo class, and the higher students in Iado class practicing their katas and cutting techniques.

Lol, was I the only one that was confused by the title of this episode in relation to how this episode ended? I mean, usually, when there's a part 1 the episode usually ends with a cliffhanger to transition to the next part right?

Anyways, totally loved both the Juuzou vs. Takeru fight, and seeing Super ShinkenBlue was pretty cool. So now, I'm pretty sure that the inromaru's gonna be just like the acceltector/dual crusher from boukenger in which everyone will be able to use it, but only one at a time (I really wanted there to be a SWAT/Legend/Super Geki mode kinda for this year, but guess not =/). I'm totally looking forward to more episodes developing Dayu and Juuzou in the future which would be nice because you don't get to see the villains get developed that often in sentai (Rio is still major win).

I have to say that what Takeru did was smart. It was weird to see Juuzou being all glowy before following off the cliff... That scene reminded me of some 3D animation scene from the Final Fantasy series lol. His blade got cut in two... hmm...

And like what Take said... It's so obvious Juuzou will be back. We didn't see him exploding!

Was Juuzou's "desire" not as strong as Dayu's to go full way or..?

And to be stuck for centuries as some instrument must be pretty harsh.

And was there any real reason behind Genta's random fever attack? Other than just being tired from the earlier battle.

anime_freek22, please use the spoiler tag when talking about other series (and wirte about which series is the spoiler). This is a Shinkenger thread, not all of us have watched Kiva.

Inroumaru works like accel tector. I was waiting for that before watching the preview for this episode. But super blue looks better than super red. I wonder if we'll have super gold. I guess not, since inroumaru doesn't seem to fit Sakanamaru.

I found that strange too. They will probably have another episode with this name in the future.

The duel was really cool. Takeru is really a fighting idiot, just like Juuzou. He wanted o fight badly and he was pretty happy when he won. The ending of the duel is exactly like one of the final battles in a samurai anime I watched.

Juuzou was hit in the right part of the torso. He probably had his liver and intestines cut. Takeru also cut his shoulder and chest in the right side. More damage than a stab in the left side of the chest/shoulder area. Assuming he has a human-like body composition.

If Juuzou was half Gedou, he still had his soul, right? So if he gets killed, his soul go to the river and it is possible for him to become full gedou. That way they can use him again and Doukoku would be able to control him.

Funny moments in the end, as always and the fight with yumebakura was just ok, though the finisher with the water blows was cool.
