What an amazing mecha battle

The duel in the last episode was good, but overall I'm glad that they're out of Nagoya. Guess there are only a few episodes left

Oh man, I can't wait for next week's episode

I like how they didn't hype up the appearance of Hikaru in the episode preview. I thought when he first appeared in the episode that it was it for him but it was a nice surprise that he showed up to rescue Tatsuya and Taiga's sister. Man Taiga's sister was great with her rounding up various employees including Tatsuya. I too like the ice freezing the pillar and then Joukaen slashing it. It was a good episode.

43 already? I have yet to watch 40-42! ~_~;;

I especially enjoyed the ending:

Tsubasa tries to make his move after Ritsuka gives Tatsuya the cold shoulder.

Taiga-taichou tries to comfort a heart-broken Yuma.

Jun teaches Hikaru how to properly do Fire-1's pose.

And of course, Tatsuya being (wo)manhandled by Marimo. Is there any reason why she's named Marimo, or is it just a common name (or does it mean something entirely different)?

Oooh the preview for this episode was misleading in a good way! They hyped up Taiga leaving and showed the scene of Hikaru in the Captain's outfit, and I was like "Holy crap, Hikaru's taking over!" Then it turns out it was just Rescue Fire's imagination. GG Takara Tomy.

Poor Yuuma. Tama's appetite is so voracious she didn't even hear his proposal. Though she seems to have forgotten he already proposed once.

Y'know, Shinkenger's giant battles were pretty disappointing to me, but fortunately Rescue Fire is there to fill the void. This episode's mecha battle was great, and the Kaen's defeat lines just get more and more non sequitur (Obey the traffic lights?).

All in all, great episode.

Tomica Hero Rescue Cowboys? who knew taiga had a western feel to him. maybe we should rename GaiaLeon into GaiaBukkaro. so his sisters into S&M to nice. Also good to see more of Rescue Force back even if it is just Hikaru I wish they'd bring the old AI speaker back in it though if they ever show him again.

hihi I laughed so hard at the end! Tatsuya screaming for help was just hilarious! And yaaaat for Hikaru! To be honest, I didn't even realise it was Hikaru in the Captain's uniform in the preview until now lol, they looked the same Anyway, loved the mecha battle and the ice and fire on the pilar was really nice.

Tatsuya seems to be the chick magnet these days

It's been building for a while now.
Like when she saw Tatsuya in the Restaurant with a older woman (who turned out to be his childhood friend), having Tama there inisiting that he must be into older chicks didn't help.

Or when they where at Round-1, she told him not to be so reckless (at first saying not to make Her worry before changing it to not to make the team worry about him). They where having a tender moment before Tsubasa swooped in and cut the romantic tension.

Then in this episode.

I think it was a reference to her being from Hokkaido, the only place in Japan you can find marimo.

Marimo's outfit reminded me of Oneechanbara more than anything else.

I was surprised she tied up Tatsuya using traditional Japanese rope bondage. Kinky.

That episode was fantastic. It had lots of humor, it had battles that felt like there was real danger for the characters, and it had awesome surprises. (Rescue Fire really is underrated compared to Kamen Rider or Sentai, but at least it means that you're less likely to run across spoilers, for which I am grateful.)

Taiga's got a big family, doesn't he? Two siblings isn't much, I guess, but it feels like more considering how they keep popping up. I was shocked that they used as much of the Indiana Jones music as they did.

Hikaru! I was shocked when he popped up on the screen, then doubly shocked when R1 appeared. I love that they completely kept that out of last week's preview, so it could really take the audience by surprise. And he still has his proper background music! That bit at the end, where Jun tries to teach him Fire 1's pose, was adorable.

Oh, the humor. The group daydreams, the facial expressions, and poor Yuuma. Poor, poor Yuuma. I love how much this episode made me laugh.
