Hello, TV-Nihon! My name is Donovan Vim Crony and I've recently completed a Afro-Mexican Futurist / Horror short film called XARA Yaocihuatl (Warrior Woman). It's about an immortal Azteca who has been wandering the Earth for over a thousand years and protecting us from evil spirits called Serpientes (Serpents/Snakes). I'm really trying to bring cool and quality sci-fi to people that are very unrepresented in these genres. Let me know what you think and if it's possible to appear on your website (which I love). I've been a HUGE fan of Keita Amemiya's work ever since I was a kid. I love how he has strong women characters. So this is definitely inspired by his work.

So for full disclosure, this Blu-ray does come with very good English captions. We took that script, added some honorifics in, did some rewording, and added a few translator notes to explain some obscure details. Thanks to everyone who helped contribute to this project. There's a lot of Saint Seiya fans out there.

So something interesting came up in the episode 3 thread. Apparently, the official Portugese dub or sub actually makes the distinction of whether these characters are male or female. So Luckyuro and Bomper are definitely males. While Navi is an "it". This post
Plus Luna has consulted with actual Japanese people, who seem to agree that Izayoi is also male. After initially thinking that he was male, I have to agree with people that there's too much evidence in support of him being male. He doesn't look female (see comparison pics of obviously female kaijin to ones who aren't), he's a page, and there's a definitely Ranmaru vibe that several people have picked up on.
