Wow, that toy is pretty sweet. I had no idea it had room for the pilots and it just looks really good when put together.
I always love this guy's reviews.

So last year, they released Garo Makai Senki on Blu-ray over 8 volumes for about 5000 yen each. It came in a black box that held a little pamplet and black Blu-ray cases. Cool.
http://www.amazon.co.jp/GARO-~MAKAISENKI~-COMPLETE-BD-BOX-Blu-ray/dp/B00...
March this year, they're rereleasing it. Let's see, the Amazon price is 27,730 yen. Disc 9 contains the "My Name is Garo" special, disc 10 has cut scenes, and disc 11 is the soundtrack CD.
Are you serious? I'm glad this stuff is coming out, but why didn't they hold off on releasing the initial Blu-ray run if they had more stuff to put out there?
I mean, I understand that these guys need to make money to keep making more shows that we enjoy, but it's pretty hard to not see this in an unfair light. It seems to punish the fans who bought the original Blu-rays, since they paid more and got less. If you look at the Amazon link, there's quite a few fans that are also upset by this.
To put it in a more charitable light, maybe they just decided that they wanted to release more bonus footage, so that's why they're doing this box set now. But the Japanese fans find the quick release schedule really suspicious. It really smacks of double dipping.
Another fan is upset because he/she wanted the soundtrack, but that was never released on its own. You can only buy it with this boxset. This is actually a common practice for the Japanese. Oreimo and Daimajin Kanon also only released their soundtracks with their Blu-rays. However, I believe Oreimo later rereleased the songs on a separate CD.

So I've locked this thread which was previously used for reporting typos. From here on, please note any typos or mistakes that you find on the talk page of the relevant wiki article page.
For example, if you found a mistake in Wizard 20. Go to its wiki article (The link is on the front page with the thread link every week). Then click the Discussion tab at the top. This will help keep our mistakes easier to track. No registration is necessary to edit the article.
This is our current list of such articles.
The reason why we want to keep track of this information is because we're thinking of doing 1080 versions release a few days after our usual release. So if any mistakes are found, we'd like to correct them, since the 1080 version will be used for archiving.

Title says it all, doesn't it? I bought this game at full price because I thought that I could play it with the Japanese audio. Unfortunately, the subtitles are all set to match the English dub. Basically, it's just not a faithful translation of the Japanese, so you're not getting that experience. Just the dub one through text.
This is kind of annoying as a Japanese fan because, that's the whole reason I was hyped to hear that it came with the Japanese audio. Was it naive of me to think that the game would fully support that aspect since they bothered to include this feature in the game? Frankly, if I knew the game was going to be released this way, I wouldn't have paid full price... and maybe I wouldn't have bought this game at all. I'm very picky about my experiences, and it's important to me that everything is perfect for me to enjoy something.
Like arbitrarily changing a character's English name from Mark to Philip, that's the sort of decision making that should worry people about the translation. As an Amazon review put it: "I'm sorry if your name is Mark, but it's too Japanese. Why don't you try changing it to a nice American name like Philip?"
I'm surprised that I haven't seen this mentioned in any game reviews that I've seen. I'm almost certain that I'm in the minority in this, but I do feel like I was cheated by the promise of Japanese audio and English subtitles. It's 2013, so why is this still a thing that happens in games and movies? I really don't expect studios to care unless I'm actively taking money out of their pockets. I guess people like me who have my set of tastes just don't matter to them.

Third time's the charm? Fourth? After playing musical chairs with devices, we've finally got something something that will capture the videos. I've got both my pretimes set, and will probably be done translating sometime tonight. Pretty cool!
I'd like to put the credits for the donators in this week's episodes, so please e-mail me if you haven't told me how you want to be credited.
I also worked a bit on the Fourze movie earlier while waiting for raws. The Net movies should be released in the next day or two, so look forward to that.

Megaupload Stuff
Hey, does anyone want to try adding our files to the new Megaupload incarnation?
https://mega.co.nz/
When you've done that, put the link in the Submit Links forum. And let us know how it's working out for you somewhere. Feedback forum?
Images on Wiki Stuff
By the way, it'd be really great if we had more people adding pictures to our wiki. I know the new Requeset Account feature seems really dumb, so feel free to make up stuff for the part where it asks for your real name. For the biography section, just write down something to prove you're not a spam bot. (I think it requires a lot of words so feel free to copy and paste it a few times)

We just replaced our tuner. Hopefully this week we'll be able to capture the video as it airs. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how hard it is to do this work if we're tripping up the very first step in the process.
