Paragon Option: Oh well, just as all the members of #TV-Nihon don't have unified opinions on certain matters, I'm sure that opinion isn't universally shared by other groups. Sometimes groups get misrepresented by their loudest member, like a lot of people think my opinion is the sole deciding voice of the group, which is absolutely not the case.
And maybe other group's have a fair point. We're only human and we make mistakes sometimes. Our Fourze 1 script was revised at least 8 times and there's still stuff that people can find in the script that could be better. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
Neutral Option: Eh, it's just the Internet. There's going to be people who decide that anything that doesn't align to their subjective opinion is wrong, and a lot more people are going to write in to complain about something compared to the people who are happy/satisfied with how things are going. The fact that people who aren't happy with how #TV-Nihon does stuff, and then decide to go off and form their own group instead of joining us shouldn't be very surprising.
Asshole Option: That really says more about the attitudes of other group's than it does about the quality of #TV-Nihon's work. They probably suck and can't get people to download their stuff without resorting to being sleazy and mudslinging. Just wait a couple of years and they'll be gone anyway, 'cause their motivations are all in the wrong place. If this is what your group is saying about other group's work, don't be surprised if people say the same thing about yours. I'm pretty sure your stuff isn't beyond criticism either.
Jokes aside, I do want to address the "fast but poor quality" comment. Considering how people are always complaining about us being slow, that seems like an obviously contradictory comment? Our QC process is rather long and it takes several steps. We had a really good stream of daily releases last month, but the work load that went into that release was several months to half-a-year (or more) in the making. And while the extra iterations almost always help, in the end there might still be a flub here and there. You can point at a mistake and make a big deal out of it to the extreme, but that doesn't mean that it's some fatal flaw that ruins the quality of the rest of the work. People put a lot of work into this stuff and (usually) a lot of thought goes into the final product.
There's a difference between, "Let's rush this out, quality be damned" and "Let's put this out at a reasonable rate and not take forever to do it."
*I haven't played the Mass Effect series, but I'm sure they call it the asshole option, right?
