So right now, I don't really know the specifics for our 3D releases. If we can do it, we'll do it. But I wanted to reassure people that we're definitely releasing the 2D versions. We're just waiting for the 3D release because it's 2D compatible and the combined pack is cheaper than buying 2D W and Goseiger movies separately

For the W movie we're waiting for the 3D release in February, so don't expect it right away

Chiba Reiko, who plays Mei, later on became a yoga instructor. You can see how she looked in 1995 because she did a guest appearance in one of the Hibiki commercials. For a while, there was a rumor that she was the daughter of Sonny Chiba, but this was proven false and IMDB has removed this information from her page since then. (Sonny Chiba does have children, but they took on his real family name, Maeda)

Looking at her Japanese wiki page, apparently she had never met a man as scary as Director Toujou Shouhei during the filming of ZyuRanger. In an unverified pargraph, it says the director said things like, "Mei, you idiot! Why don't you go die?!" "You sure are crying a lot! Stop it! Change in scenario! Switch heroines!" "I've never seen such an awful female warrior before!" which would cause her to cry everyday. But he strictly taught her manners and courtesy and in the end she was grateful to him. The last thing that it says is that they both came from Fukushima, so the director complained that she had a bit of an accent. Secretly she thought, "The director also has that accent..."

Like I said, I didn't see a source for this story, so who knows how true it is. Take it with a grain of salt

In an effort to scale back on stuff, TN is backing out of the Rockman project. Maybe Zokusei will pick it up and continue it elsewhere. Rockman forums

Overall, for this year I really want to scale back on picking up new shows/series and just working on our tremendous backlog of stuff. It frustrates our fans who are waiting for it and it frustrates our staff who aren't able to work on stuff. I guess we'll see if we can keep that up. Persoanlly, if we can get some older series completed, that'd make me super happy

Apparently there's a kanji for the last day of the month. So the big version of that is New Year's Eve. Isn't that neat?

So OOO was release 2627. We started the year with a batch of Keitai and Shinkenger HD, which don't increase the counter since they're not technically new episodes. So our first real release wasn't till January 2nd Rescue Fire 39 which was release 2257. Man, that felt like forever ago, was that really still this year?

For the new year, I'm hoping to work on some of the backburner projects. It'll be tough with the Rider and Sentai movies coming out on Blu-Ray in February (the 3D combo pack is cheaper than buying them individually) and Sentai Versus in March. The beginning of the year is always hectic for that reason

But really, I'd kind of prefer it if people didn't ask at all. It's just annoying and doesn't really make the process go faster. It'll come out when we have a finished product, so don't bug us about that kind of stuff

Yup, if you come to this site, you're already fully aware that ZyuRanger is the original Sentai whose footage was taken to make Power Rangers here in the states

ZyuRanger aired from February 21, 1992 to February 12, 1993. About half a year later, the first Power Rangers series was released in August 28, 1993. And the rest is history
