Woodbetweenworlds summarized things pretty well for how our videos work on the PS3 here. If anyone wants, I put up a public version of our spreadsheet list of shows with a column for marking works or doesn't work on the PS3. Feel free to fill that in

So as some of you might have guessed, some of the things that we did or said on April first might not have been entirely true or filled with the usual sincerity that are the words that are coming out of my mouth.
In case some of you missed it, the SD version of the OOO release did have a small April Fool's gag. Here it is clipped out if you want to see it: http://www.multiupload.com/5DB215IKV5
The thing that worries me is that people were fooled by the other prank about us actually dubbing things. No offense to people who do fandubs and enjoy them, but I'm sure I speak for most of the staff when I say that we kind of think dubbing are a terrible thing. Even professionaly done ones aren't good most the time. So fandubbing: Kind of a lot of work for stuff that's (in my arrogant opinion) probably low quality anyway.
On an unrelated note, I'm hoping to get some more equipment this week which would let me cap videos from my PSP. Any requests for Climax Heroes OOO or Oreimo Portable footage?

In an effort to maintain a connection our English speaking fanbase (we are mostly American after all, fuck yeah!) we've started a new sub group that will focus on dubbing over the shows in English. I mean... seriously, we wouldn't want to be elitists that just watch foreign shows in subtitles all the time. Reading? That's totally lame! It's not like there's any reason to watch subtitled shows over dubs anyway
So our first title is Masked Rider ZO. Be impressed by our team's fantastic display of acting and amazing translations. The best part? Since you don't have to pay attention to the screen anymore, you're free to say, give your best friend a blowjob. You won't miss any dialogue at all! Better yet, if you're super flexible you can give yourself a blowjob. Dubs are the new subs.

For some reason I needed a friend to send me his installed copy rared up. It works if I just unrar it, but it stops working when I move it to my Program Files (x86) folder. Weird! Anyway, that's how I did my work around to get it working.
And people have been asking why I want to keep using this program despite Aegisub. It's because I like SSA better for translating. It has better shortcuts for that purpose that don't exist in Aegisub as far as I know. Different programs for different purposes.

Anyone know if it's possible? I found the installer that lets you install it on 64-bit Windows 7, but when I run it it just hangs at the splash window. E-mail or PM me on the forums if you've got a solution. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that last week's episodes were the first ones that aired after they skipped a week for the earthquake and tsunami recovery. So in the episodes there was a frame around it where there was disaster information being displayed. So after every commercial break it'll start with the video in full frame, then the borders will appear around it, like this:
Our encoders worked really hard to eliminate the border so that you can enjoy the full video the way you usually would. But a side effect of this is that when the border is appearing, the screen will look jittery. This is just a side effect of the video zoom out, and there's nothing we can do about it. Maybe we'll rerelease it from the Blu-Rays when they come out

This is pretty unfortuante, I really enjoyed her writing. In case some of you didn't know, the Ghibli anime Howl's Moving Castle was based on a British writer. I highly recommend reading the book if you enjoyed the anime, since it makes more sense and is just overall a lot better than the movie (Don't get me wrong, I love the movie too).
Howl's Moving Castle was also followed by two indirect sequels that take place in the world. Castle in the Air and House of Many Ways. I highly recommend that people check them out. You can probably find them at your local library.
Edit: Shadowneko has set up a forum thread about the matter

So someone took the fansubs that we put out there with no strings attached, and cut them up to make a Kamen Rider show that has no present day stuff. This is infuriating!
No wait, I mean, this is hilarious. Good job to that guy!
